You have probably walked into a doctor’s office and immediately felt like you had to explain yourself. Like you had to educate your provider, defend your identity, or shrink yourself just to get basic care.
That ends here. Vermae Telehealth was built specifically for trans, nonbinary, and gender-diverse adults who deserve a provider that already understands and already affirms who you are before you ever say a word.
Consent-based
LGBTQ+ affirming
Telehealth

At many telehealth services, you get whoever is available that day. A different provider every visit. Someone who has never met you and has to start from scratch.
That is not what happens here.
At Vermae, you get me. Every single visit. I know your history, your goals, and your story because I built this practice to actually know my patients.
When I refer you to another provider, I don’t just send a name. I call ahead. I make sure that provider and their staff are prepared to treat you with respect and dignity before you ever walk through that door. You should never have to wonder if a referral is a safe space. I do that work for you.
And because my background is in family practice, urgent care and emergency medicine, not just hormone management, I can also see you for minor acute illness as part of your membership. You are not just a prescription to me. You are a whole person and I care for you that way.
Lorri A. Price, MBA, MSN, APRN, FNP-C (she/her) is a Black lesbian nurse practitioner with more than 26 years of nursing experience and 12 years as a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She did not stumble into this work.
She built Vermae Telehealth because affirming care should exist and it should actually feel like care. As a Black queer woman, Lorri understands what it means to navigate healthcare systems that were not designed with you in mind. She built this practice to be something different. Something better. A place where your identity is not a barrier to care it is the starting point.
She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from The George Washington University and is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Her clinical background spans primary care, internal medicine, emergency medicine, urgent care, and rehabilitative settings.

You are trans, nonbinary, or gender-diverse and tired of providers who make you feel like a problem to be managed.
You want hormone therapy or gender-affirming care without jumping through unnecessary hoops or waiting for letters from strangers.
You are queer and also navigating perimenopause, metabolic health, or weight and you want a provider who understands all of it not just one piece.
You want telehealth that is private, convenient, and does not require you to out yourself in a waiting room.
You want a provider who has done the work culturally, clinically, and personally.
